106 CMR, § 703.600 - EAEDC Elderly - 65 Years of Age or Older
(A) An elderly applicant or client is one who
is 65 years of age or older and is awaiting determination of Supplemental
Security Income (SSI) benefits. If the person is found to be ineligible for SSI
benefits, she or he may be eligible for EAEDC provided the eligibility
requirements for EAEDC are met.
(B)
Verification that the applicant or client is awaiting SSI benefits will be
established on a form prescribed by the Department. Ineligibility for SSI will
be proven by the letter of denial from SSI.
