211 CMR 41.16 - Scheduling of Proceeding

Timing of Hearing and Order of Presentation. The
Hearing will begin within 30 days after the submission of a complete Hearing
Request. The Proceeding will be conducted in the following order, and in
accordance with orders issued by the Presiding Officer:

Hearing on the Carrier's
Evidence. Intervenors are permitted to cross-examine the Carrier's
witnesses, subject to any limits on intervention pursuant to
211 CMR 41.14. The
Presiding Officer may limit examination by Parties. The Presiding Officer may
ask questions of the Carrier's witnesses, regardless of whether a Party has
intervened.

Hearing
on the Intervenors' Evidence. Cross-examination, redirect and
recross-examination of an Intervenors' witnesses will begin within six days
after the submission of that Intervenor's Responsive Filing, unless the
Presiding Officer orders another time period. If the Presiding Officer orders
or permits an Intervenor to present oral direct evidence, examination of the
Intervenors' witnesses will begin within six days of the completion of direct
testimony. The Presiding Officer may limit examination by Parties.
