236 CMR, § 4.03 - Examinations

(1) The Board shall prepare, or cause to be prepared, examinations to be used in determining the knowledge, ability and judgment of the applicants to be examined for certification as operators of public water systems.
(2) Examinations shall be held at places and times set by the Board or its designee as directed by the Board.
(3) All examinations shall be graded by the Board or its designee and the applicant shall be notified of the outcome in writing. Examination papers will not be returned to the applicant.
(4) Separate examinations may be prepared by the Board or its designee to cover basic differences in the duties and responsibilities of operators, types of facilities, variations in drinking water quality, degree of treatment and other pertinent matters, or in exceptional circumstances as determined by the Board.
