310 CMR, § 16.17 - Application Review by the Department of Public Health
(1)
Review and
Comments. The Department of Public Health (DPH) shall review the
application and comment as to any potential adverse impacts the site may have
on public health and safety. Such review and comment shall be made no later
than 60 days after the start of the Review Period. The Department of Public
Health may submit or discuss its comments with the Department during the Review
Period.
(2)
Department
of Public Health Report. The Department of Public Health at the
written request of the board of health shall make or have made a written report
containing its comments on the potential adverse impacts of the site on public
health and safety and may submit said report no later than 60 days after the
start of the Review Period. The DPH may submit such report to the board of
health.
(3)
Coordination with Board of Health. The DPH shall
coordinate and cooperate with the board of health on any matter relating to the
report upon written request by the board of health to DPH.
