Mich. Admin. Code R. 38.141 - Representation; appearance; withdrawal
Rule 11.
(1) A
party may represent himself or herself before the commission or an attorney in
good standing with the State Bar of Michigan may represent a party.
(2) An attorney who represents a party before
the commission shall file a written appearance on or before the time of the
filing of the claim of appeal or the answer, whichever is applicable, at the
office of the commission . An attorney who has filed an appearance with the
commission may withdraw only by order of the administrative law judge or the
commission .
