Minn. Stat. agency 198, ch. 9810, pt. 9810.1402 - PACKAGING AND LABELING FOR MEDICAL PATIENTS

Subpart 1. Universal medical label.

In addition to the labeling requirements under part 9810.1400 and Minnesota Statutes, section 342.63, medical cannabis flower and a medical cannabinoid product must be labeled with a universal symbol indicating that the product was cultivated, manufactured, and packaged for sale to medical patients.

A. The universal symbol must replicate the following in form with black text on a yellow background:

B. The symbol must be no smaller than 0.5 inches wide by 0.35 inches tall and must be printed legibly and conspicuously.
Subp. 2. Patient-specific label.

In addition to the information required by Minnesota Statutes, section 342.63, subdivision 4, a medical cannabis combination business or cannabis retailer, microbusiness, or mezzobusiness with a medical cannabis retailer endorsement must include the following information on a patient-specific label affixed to medical cannabis flower or a medical cannabinoid product:

A. the name and address of the medical cannabis manufacturer that manufactured the medical cannabis flower or medical cannabinoid product;
B. the chemical composition of the medical cannabis flower or medical cannabinoid product;
C. the recommended dosage of the flower or product;
D. directions for use of the flower or product; and
E. the statement "This medical cannabis is for therapeutic use only. Diversion of this product is unlawful and may result in revocation of the patient's registration."
