8 CSR 60-2.055 - Practice by Attorneys
(1)
Only persons who are licensed attorneys admitted to practice in this state or
permitted to practice in Missouri by the Missouri Supreme Court rules will be
permitted to practice before the commission. An individual who is a party may
act as his/her own attorney. A corporation shall be represented by an
attorney.
(2) The attorney
representing any party in any proceedings under the Act shall file an entry of
appearance with the presiding officer, and after that all notices, orders and
other documents served by the commission shall be served upon the attorney
instead of upon the party s/he represents, until the attorney or the party
notifies the presiding officer in writing that the attorney no longer
represents or is authorized to represent the party.
