Mont. Admin. r. 37.86.1701 - FAMILY PLANNING SERVICES
(1)
Family planning services may be provided by a physician in accordance with ARM
37.86.101 through
37.86.105, mid-level practitioner
in accordance with ARM
37.86.201 through
37.86.205, or a local family
planning program defined at ARM
37.19.101. Family planning
services include:
(a) comprehensive
history;
(b) contraceptive supplies
and procedures;
(c) initial,
routine, and annual visits and examinations;
(d) laboratory services;
(e) medical counseling; and
(f) testing and treatment for sexually
transmitted infections and testing for human immunodeficiency virus
(HIV).
(2) A copy of the
family planning procedures may be obtained from the Department of Public Health
and Human Services, Health Resources Division, 1400 Broadway, P.O. Box 202951,
Helena, MT 59620-2951.
(3) The
definitions found in the introduction to Physicians Current Procedural
Terminology, fourth edition (CPT4), published by the American Medical
Association of Chicago, Illinois and adopted at ARM
37.86.101 defines the terms
commonly used by the Montana Medicaid program in implementation of the
program's family planning clinic fee schedule.
(4) The "Physician-Related Services Manual"
means the physician-related services manual. It governs the administration of
the Family Planning Clinic program.
(5) Plan First waiver services, which are
separate and distinct from family planning services covered by Medicaid, are
set forth in ARM 37.86.1707.
