Mont. Admin. r. 36.25.611 - CANCELLATION OR TERMINATION
(1) The lease is
subject to cancellation for failure to comply with the terms of the lease or
this sub-chapter. The lessee shall be notified of any failure to comply and
allowed a reasonable time to comply. If the lessee fails to comply within a
reasonable time the lease shall be canceled.
(2) Upon termination of the lease for any
cause the lessee shall immediately surrender the premises and shall remove all
personal property within 60 days after termination of the lease.
(3) The lessee shall remain responsible for
restoring the disturbed land until it has been restored as provided in this
subchapter or in the lease itself. The former lessee may be relieved of this
responsibility if the land is released.
