Mont. Admin. r. 37.86.2932 - MEDICAID UTILIZATION RATE
(1) A
hospital's Medicaid inpatient utilization rate is the hospital's percentage
rate computed by dividing the total number of Medicaid inpatient days in the
hospital's fiscal year by the total number of the hospital's inpatient days in
that same period.
(2) The period
used to determine whether a hospital is deemed a routine disproportionate share
hospital will be the most recent calendar year for which final cost reports are
available for all hospital providers.
