Nev. Admin. Code § 284.404 - Reappointments
1. A current employee may be reappointed to a
class he or she formerly held or to a comparable class if:
(a) The employee meets the current minimum
qualifications and the appointing authority approves the reappointment;
and
(b) For a reappointment to a
comparable class, the Division of Human Resource Management approves the
reappointment.
2. An
employee who desires reappointment must make his or her interest known to the
hiring agency.
3. The grade of the
class to which an employee is reappointed may only exceed the grade of the
class he or she formerly held or a comparable class if the former or comparable
class has been reallocated.
4.
Except as otherwise provided in subsection 3, an employee may not be
reappointed to underfill a position at grade 30 or higher if that position is
allocated at a higher grade than the position the employee formerly
held.
