Nev. Admin. Code § 440.350 - Certificate in absence of documentary evidence
Where an applicant for a delayed certificate of birth has been unable to furnish documentary evidence, the State Registrar may request and accept a complete statement of the facts and the reason for the absence of such evidence which must be placed in the record of birth, or advise the applicant of his or her right to seek an order from a court of competent jurisdiction to determine the sufficiency of any documentary evidence.
