Nev. Admin. Code § 535.065 - "Maximum credible earthquake" defined
"Maximum credible earthquake" means a hypothetical earthquake of a magnitude determined by the United States Geological Survey as the worst-case scenario that is reasonably possible for the region in which a dam is located.
