Nev. Admin. Code § 616C.Sec. 1 - NEW
1. The Hearings Division will develop and
maintain an electronic filing system for the filing and service of documents
relating to a contested case under chapters 616A to 617, inclusive, of NRS. In
developing and implementing the electronic filing system, the Hearings Division
will, to the extent practicable, ensure consistency with the Nevada Electronic
Filing and Conversion Rules adopted by the Nevada Supreme Court.
2. Except as otherwise provided in this
subsection, a party to a contested case under chapters 616A to 617, inclusive,
of NRS must use the electronic filing system. A party is not required to use
the electronic filing system if he or she is not represented by counsel or by a
licensed representative.
3. A party
who is not represented by counsel or by a licensed representative may use the
electronic filing system by delivering a document to the Hearings Division. The
Hearings Division will facilitate any such party's access to the electronic
filing system.
4. The Hearings
Division will provide training in the use of the electronic filing system
described in this section.
