Nev. Admin. Code § 632.845 - Requirements for classroom and clinical facilities
1. Each
classroom and clinical facility used by an approved program for medication
aides - certified must be:
(a) Adequate in
size, number and type.
(b) Clean
and in a safe condition.
(c)
Maintained at a comfortable temperature.
(d) Adequately lighted.
2. Each clinical facility selected for
training must be approved by the Board. Before the Board will approve a
facility as a clinical facility, it will consider:
(a) Whether the facility complies with the
statutes and regulations governing medical facilities;
(b) Whether the facility has not been allowed
to participate in the program for Medicare or Medicaid during the immediately
preceding 2 years;
(c) Whether the
facility has administrative support;
(d) The number of programs and trainees using
the facility; and
(e) Whether the
facility is able to provide learning experiences in the care of the elderly or
the chronically ill.
