Nev. Admin. Code § 641C.278 - Native American Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselors: Authorized activities

A person who is issued a certificate as an alcohol and drug abuse counselor by the Board pursuant to NAC 641C.276:

1. May only provide counseling services relating to alcohol and drug abuse to those persons who are authorized to receive those services pursuant to 25 U.S.C. §§ 450 et seq. or 25 U.S.C. §§ 1601 et seq.
2. Shall represent himself or herself only as an alcohol and drug abuse counselor certified to provide counseling services to persons who are authorized to receive those services pursuant to 25 U.S.C. §§ 450 et seq. and 25 U.S.C. §§ 1601 et seq.
