Nev. Admin. Code § 704.330 - Deposit: Additional amount

1. A utility may
require a customer who is subject to the termination of service and who
requests the resumption or continuation of service to provide a deposit in
addition to any other deposit made by the customer pursuant to NAC 704.328 only
if the initial deposit has been returned to the customer or more than one-half
of the deposit has been applied to the account of the customer. In no event may
the amount of a deposit held by a utility exceed the amounts specified in NAC
704.328.
2. If a utility requires a
customer to provide a deposit pursuant to subsection 1, the deposit may be
combined with any arrearage, and the customer may pay the deposit and the
arrearage pursuant to an agreement for deferred payment in accordance with NAC
704.341.
