388.Sec. 4-1. NEW

1. Consistent with the legislative finding set forth in subsection 2 of NRS 388.1454, the support center, as defined in NRS 388.14525 shall:

(a) Protect information which is reported to the Program by a person who is deemed to have elected not to remain anonymous pursuant to section 3 of this regulation by methods and procedures to ensure the confidentiality of the information;

(b) Forward information which is reported to the Program by a person who is deemed to have elected not to remain anonymous pursuant to section 3 of this regulation to the team appointed pursuant to NRS 388.14553 for the relevant public school; and

(c) If determined to be appropriate by the support center, forward information which is reported to the Program by a person who is deemed to have elected not to remain anonymous pursuant to section 3 of this regulation to a law enforcement agency pursuant to subsection 9 of NRS 388.14557.

2. Upon receipt of information pursuant to paragraph (b) of subsection 1, the team appointed pursuant to NRS 388.14553 shall take appropriate action to respond to the incident or threat in accordance with the training received pursuant to NRS 388.1455 and sections 2 to 10, inclusive, of LCB File No. R111-15, effective January 27, 2017.

3. A person to whom any information, including, without limitation, the identity of a person who is deemed to have elected not to remain anonymous pursuant to section 3 of this regulation, is forwarded pursuant to NRS 388.1455 or NRS 14557, or section 4 shall keep such information confidential.
