N.H. Admin. Code § Ath 101.02 - Scope
Pursuant to RSA 326-G:2 these rules shall not apply to athletic training when it consists in:
(a) Self-care by a patient;
(b) First aid by a coach;
(c) Gratuitous care by a friend or family
member who does not represent himself or herself as an athletic
trainer;
(d) The activities of
athletic training students acting under the direction of an athletic trainer
licensed, certified or registered in any state, provided that the students are
designated by a title which clearly indicates their student status;
or
(e) The activities of
non-resident athletic trainers currently licensed, certified or registered in
any state or Canada, or currently certified by the National Athletic Trainers
Association Board of Certification, Inc., when these activities are performed
during a temporary visit in this state as set forth in Ath 304.
