N.H. Admin. Code § Bcr 212.03 - Disposition of Petition
(a) The
board shall by order grant a petition for rulemaking if the proposal is
consistent with the laws regulating the state building code review board,
RSA
155-A:10 et seq, advances the purposes
thereof and, if implemented, would be required to be adopted as a rule. Before
issuing such an order, however, the board shall require additional data or
argument from the petitioner or other interested persons, if necessary for the
board to reach its decision.
(b) If
the petition is denied, the board shall state the reason therefore in the
order. If the petition is granted, the board shall undertake to commence a
rulemaking proceeding in accordance with
RSA
541-A:3.
