N.H. Admin. Code § Cor 301.01 - Health and Safety Inspections
(a)
The housing, industrial, work, recreational, and administrative areas of each
facility shall be maintained in a manner which meets the standards established
for the facility by public health authorities in the state of New
Hampshire.
(b) The New Hampshire
department of health and human services (DHHS), division of public health
services, food protection shall be requested to designate an appropriate staff
member from its department to inspect at least annually all areas of each
facility, with the exception of exempted health services facilities, and to
render a written report of the results to the commissioner. The chief
administrator of each facility shall comply with the orders, requirements, and
recommendations contained in the inspection report or request a waiver from
these requirements and recommendations. Items that require additional funding
shall be reported by the commissioner of corrections for inclusion in
appropriate budgetary documents.
