N.H. Admin. Code § Pari 808.05 - Entries and Starts in Purse and Official Schooling Races
(a) A greyhound shall not be entered or start
unless:
(1) All of its owners are licensed;
and
(2) It is under the care of a
licensed trainer.
(b) No
greyhound under the age of 12 months shall be entered in a purse or official
schooling race.
(c) No greyhound
shall be permitted to start unless the paddock judge has confirmed its identity
in accordance with Pari 803.08(a) or
(b).
(d) A greyhound shall not run in a race
unless it has been entered by the trainer of record.
(e) Once entered a greyhound shall remain
entered until the greyhound is:
(1) Withdrawn
by the trainer of record;
(2)
Scratched pursuant to
Pari
808.07(c); or
(3) Ordered by the board to run official
schooling races.
(f) No
greyhound required to run one or more official schooling races or on the
veterinarian's list shall be entered or start in any purse race.
(g) A greyhound shall not be entered or
started in any purse or official schooling race if the license of any owner of
the greyhound has been suspended or revoked.
(h) The entry of a greyhound shall be free
unless:
(1) The entry is made specifically for
a stakes race; and
(2) The licensee
has submitted to the racing secretary a written statement of conditions for the
stakes race pursuant to
Pari
808.06(a).
