N.H. Admin. Code § Pari 808.09 - Weighing In and Out
(a) Before running
purse races greyhounds shall be:
(1) Weighed
in; and
(2) Thereafter held in the
lock-out kennel.
(b)
Greyhounds shall be weighed out after leaving the lock-out kennel and before
being covered with a numbered blanket.
(c) The time of weighing-in shall be:
(1) Not less than one hour and not more than
2 hours before the time of the first race of the racing performance;
or
(2) In the absence of space in
the lock-out kennel sufficient to accommodate greyhounds which have been
weighed in, as soon as sufficient space has become available.
(d) At least one judge shall be
present at the weigh-in.
(e) After
weigh-in the board shall order a greyhound to be weighed again if it receives a
claim that the greyhound's weight was improperly recorded.
