The rules in former Fis 501 through 511 governing county exceptions to the freshwater fishing rules have been amended and incorporated into Fis 400 by Document #5016. The rules in former Part Fis 404 governing ice fishing have been amended and incorporated into different sections of Fis 400. The rules in former Fis 406 governing bait fish and bait fish dealers have been amended and incorporated into Fis 502. The rules in former Fis 411 governing prohibited actions have been amended and incorporated into Fis 402. The rules governing fishing contests in former Fis 412 have been amended and incorporated into Fis 503. The rules governing trophy fish and record fish programs in former Fis 413 have been amended and incorporated into Fis 504. See the revision note at the head of Chapter Fis 500 for prior filings under that chapter.

REVISION NOTE #2:

Document #13698, effective 7-26-23, adopted, readopted, or readopted with amendments various rules in Chapter Fis 400, including extensive renumbering of the sections within Part Fis 401 titled "Chapter Definitions" as paragraphs in a single section Fis 401.01, also titled "Chapter Definitions." Document #13698 also adopted Fis 401.01(u) defining "Tenkara."

Document #13698 replaces all prior filings for definitions in the former Part Fis 401. The prior filings beginning with Document #5016, effective 1-1-91, which affected the definitions in Part Fis 401, included the following Documents:
