(a) A
motor vehicle shall not be certified if it is not equipped with at least one
rear view mirror. A passenger automobile manufactured after January 1, 1965,
shall be equipped with an interior mirror and an exterior mirror on the
driver's side.
(b) A commercial
motor vehicle manufactured after January 1, 1965, shall be equipped with an
interior mirror and an exterior mirror on the driver's side, except that every

from an interior mirror shall, in lieu of an interior mirror, be equipped with
an exterior mirror on the side of the vehicle opposite the driver's
side.
(c) Mirrors shall be securely

the mirror affords the driver adequate rear view vision. However, the motorist
shall be advised to have the defect corrected.
(e) Mirrors shall be capable of adjustment to
a fixed horizontal and vertical position.
