N.J. Admin. Code § 13:23-5.9 - Responsibility of licensees
(a) In the case of a sole proprietorship, the owner and/or possessor of a controlling interest in the driving
school shall be responsible to the Chief Administrator for the administration of examinations by the driving school and for all actions performed by
his or her employees in connection with the administration of examinations pursuant to this subchapter.
(b) In the case of a partnership or corporation, each partner, or corporate officer and/or director, or any person
or entity possessing a controlling interest, as the case may be, shall be held individually and jointly responsible to the Chief Administrator for
the administration of examinations by the driving school and for all actions performed by its employees in connection with the administration of
examinations pursuant to this subchapter.
