N.J. Admin. Code § 13:69E-1.28I - External touch screen systems
(a) External touch
screen system means all hardware and software used to resize or overlay a slot
machine's touch screen monitor to perform patron, employee or marketing related
functions.
(b) An external touch
screen system may resize the slot machine's game screen provided that:
1. The entire slot machine's game screen
remains available and legible;
2.
No aspects of game play are affected; and
3. All touch screen coordinates are
appropriately remapped to ensure proper operation.
(c) The slot machine's game screen may be
overlaid provided that:
1. The overlaid
portion does not affect the game play or the availability of help
screens;
2. Game play is suspended,
in which case the entire game screen may be fully obscured; or
3. The game is in tournament mode and the
Division has expressly approved the overlay.
(d) The display of a slot machine's game
screen shall not be affected by an external touch screen system malfunction.
