N.J. Admin. Code § 2:5-4.4 - Test requirements for sale or other exchange of ownership
(a) No equidae six
months or more of age, unless exempted by provisions of this section or
N.J.A.C.
2:5-4.5 shall be sold, adopted, rescued,
seized, rehomed, exchanged, bartered, given away, or otherwise have a change of
ownership or custody, unless such animal has a negative official test for EIA
with the sample collected within 90 days prior to such transfer.
1. At the time of such transfer, the
transferor shall deliver personally or by certified mail to the transferee, an
unaltered copy of the official test report.
