N.J. Admin. Code § 4A:3-5.1 - General provisions
(a) In local
service, overtime compensation shall be paid pursuant to standards prepared and
administered by the appointing authority in accordance with the Fair Labor
Standards Act,

U.S.C. 201 et seq.
(b) In State service, overtime compensation
for employees in the career, senior executive and unclassified services shall
be paid pursuant to this subchapter. See chart (Appendix A) at the end of this
subchapter which outlines these overtime provisions.
