N.J. Admin. Code § 6A:10-2.1 - Evaluation of teaching staff members
(a) A district
board of education annually shall adopt evaluation rubrics for all teaching
staff members. The evaluation rubrics shall have four defined annual ratings:
ineffective, partially effective, effective, and highly effective.
(b) The evaluation rubrics for teachers,
principals, vice principals, and assistant principals shall include all other
relevant minimum standards set forth in N.J.S.A. 18A:6-123 (P.L.
2012 , c. 26 , §17c
).
(c) Evaluation rubrics shall be
submitted to the Commissioner by August 1 for approval by August 15 of each
year.
