N.J. Admin. Code § 8:21-3.8 - List of ingredients for human self-defense sprays
(a) The following list of active and inactive ingredients can be used in devices which contain and release chemical substances which cause temporary physical discomfort covered by the exemptions pursuant to the provisions of N.J.S.A. 2C:39-6(i):
1. Active ingredients:
i. Chloroacetophenone
ii. Ortho-chlorobenzalmalonitrile
2. Inactive ingredients:
i. 1,1,1-trichloroethane
ii. Trichlorotriflouroethane
iii. Kerosene
iv. Mineral oil
