Commissioner shall coordinate the processing of an applicant through the NMLSR
with the State licensing of the applicant on any matters deemed necessary for
participation in the nationwide system and registry, including, but not limited
to, electronic filings, information sharing and other activities that
facilitate the operation of the nationwide system and registry.
(b) The Commissioner may investigate or
examine any mortgage lender, mortgage broker, mortgage loan originator,
qualified individual licensee or other person as necessary to determine
eligibility for licensure and compliance with the Act and orders, rules and
regulations issued thereunder and take such action as he or she deems
appropriate based upon the results of any such investigation or examination
consistent with the provisions of the Act and this chapter.
(c) The Commissioner may require any mortgage
lender, mortgage broker, mortgage loan originator, qualified individual
licensee or other person as necessary to make or compile reports or prepare
other information as directed by the Commissioner for the purposes of
implementing the RMLA.
