N.J. Admin. Code § 7:28-16.9 - Operating criteria

(a) No person shall operate a dental ionizing radiation-producing machine in such a manner as to expose human beings unless such person is a licensed practitioner or holds a valid license issued by the Department pursuant to N.J.A.C. 7:28-19 and the Radiologic Technologist Act, 26:2D-24 through 36.
(b) A person shall operate a dental ionizing radiation-producing machine in a manner consistent with the scope of practice defined on that person's license issued by the Department pursuant to N.J.A.C. 7:28-19.
