CHAPTER HISTORICAL NOTE:
Chapter 89, Adult Protective Services (APS) Program, was originally codified in Title 5 as Chapter 72, Adult Protective Services (APS) Program. Chapter 72, Adult Protective Services (APS) Program, was adopted as R.1996 d.65, effective 2/5/1996. See: 27 New Jersey Register 2297(a), 28 New Jersey Register 817(a).
Pursuant to Reorganization Plan No. 001-1996, Chapter 72, Adult Protective Services (APS) Program, was recodified to N.J.A.C. 8:89, effective 10/15/1997. As a part of the recodification, administrative changes were made to reflect Department of Health and Senior Services jurisdiction. See: 29 New Jersey Register 4679(a). Pursuant to Executive Order No. 66(1978), Chapter 89, Adult Protective Services (APS) Program, expired on 2/5/2001.
