Chapter 39, Public Meetings by Local Government Entities, was adopted as emergency and concurrent proposed new rules by R.2020 d.110, effective September 23, 2020. See: 52 N.J.R. 1943(a).
Chapter 39, Public Meetings by Local Government Entities, was scheduled to expire on November 22, 2020. In accordance with Executive Order No. 127 (2020) and P.L. 2021, c. 103, any chapter of the New Jersey Administrative Code that would have otherwise expired during the Public Health Emergency originally declared in Executive Order No. 103 (2020) was extended through January 1, 2022. Accordingly, Chapter 39, Public Meetings by Local Government Entities, expired on January 1, 2022.
