N.M. Admin. Code § 15.1.7.18 - INTERIOR OF GAMING MACHINE; LOGIC BOARDS
A. The internal space of a gaming device must
not be readily accessible when the cabinet door is closed. The cabinet door of
the gaming device must be both locked and monitored.
B. Access to the area described in Subsection
C of 15.1.7.18 NMAC is prohibited
without prior notice to the board, including the name of the person seeking
access, the person's affiliation with the gaming operator licensee or owner of
the gaming device, and the date, time, and purpose of such access. Unauthorized
tampering or entrance into the logic area without prior notice is grounds for
disciplinary action.
C. The logic
boards, program storage medium, and RAM or non-volatile memory of a gaming
device must be contained in a separate, locked enclosure within the gaming
device.
