N.Y. Comp. Codes R. & Regs. Tit. 12 § 43.13 - Slipping hazards
The owner of a machine shall not suffer or permit any floor surface open to occupation or traversal by employees or other persons to be polished or coated with a slippery substance or to be otherwise in a slippery condition.
