N.Y. Comp. Codes R. & Regs. Tit. 15 § 123.8 - Failure to plead

If a motorist has not entered a plea on or before the date of appearance, his or her driver's license and/or driving privileges will be suspended. Such a suspension will remain in effect until a guilty plea is made or a not guilty plea is accepted and the suspension is terminated by an administrative law judge.
