N.Y. Comp. Codes R. & Regs. Tit. 19 § 208.24 - Restrictions on officials
(a) No
licensed referee, judge or timekeeper shall officiate at any combative sports
program within the State of New York, which is not conducted under the
authority or supervision of the Commission or a licensed sanctioning entity,
unless otherwise directed or authorized by the Commission.
(b) A judge or referee shall not be entitled
to receive any compensation, directly or indirectly, in connection with a
professional boxing or professional mixed martial arts match until he or she
provides the Commission with a statement of all consideration, including
reimbursement for expenses, which he or she will receive from any sources for
participation in the match.
