18 N.C. Admin. Code 08 .0101 - PURPOSE

The purpose of the Land Records Management Division is to encourage county governments to utilize modern methods, techniques, equipment, and documentation which will improve the quality of public services with respect to land records and achieve a high degree of standardization throughout the state. The program provides technical assistance and grant funds for the improvement of county land records. Since the funds available in any one year are sufficient to meet only a part of the total need, in making grants the state will consider:

Chapter 8 of Title 18 of the North Carolina Administrative Code (T18.08); LAND RECORDS MANAGEMENT DIVISION; has been transferred and recodified from Chapter 15 of Title 15A of the North Carolina Administrative Code (15A.15), effective November 25, 1991.
Chapter 15 of Title 15A of the North Carolina Administrative Code (T15A.15); LAND RECORDS MANAGEMENT PROGRAM; has been transferred and recodified from Chapter 15 of Title 15 of the North Carolina Administrative Code (T15.15), effective November 1, 1989. The recodification was pursuant to G.S. 143B-279.1.
