Ohio Admin. Code 1301:3-2-06 - Renewal of plumbing inspector certificates
(A) Each person engaged in plumbing
inspections shall possess a valid certificate as a plumbing inspector issued by
the superintendent. Such certificates shall be issued for a period of one
year.
(B) Application for renewal
of a plumbing inspector certificate shall be made by the holder of such a
certificate not less than sixty days prior to the termination date of the
certificate, on forms furnished by the superintendent or his
designee.
(C) For renewal of a
plumbing inspector certificate without examination, the applicant shall complete a minimum of ten hours
of continuing education courses approved
by the superintendent or his designee. Four hours
out of the ten hours of courses shall be conducted by the plumbing section of
the division of industrial compliance
by the
board of building standards for plumbing inspector
certification.
