Ohio Admin. Code 3335-5-02 - Appointments and continuing employment; conditions upon
(A) Upon nomination and recommendation by the
president of the university, the board of trustees shall make all appointments
to all positions within the university and approve the salaries
therefor.
(B) In defense of the
freedom of those who teach and those who learn, and of the governmental system
upon which such freedom is dependent, the conditions hereinafter set forth
shall govern all initial appointments and continuing employment by the
university.
(C) It shall be
sufficient cause for the removal of any officer, faculty or employee of the
university, pursuant to the procedures set forth in rule
3335-5-04 of the Administrative
Code, that such officer, faculty, or
employee, or teacher advocate, or have
membership in an organization which is generally known to advocate the
overthrow of the government of the United States, or of the state of Ohio, by
force, violence or other unlawful means. (Reference is made to the provisions
of section 124.36 of the Revised
Code.)
