Ohio Admin. Code 3745-50-702 - Applying for a standardized permit
(A)
Instructions for facility owners or operators applying
for a standardized permit.
(1)
Owners or operators shall comply with the requirements
in rules 3745-50-700 to 3745-50-711, paragraph (A) of rule 3745-50-531,
3745-50-40, paragraphs (A) to (D) and (E) of rule 3745-50-41, and rules
3745-50-250 to 3745-50-320 of the Administrative Code.
(2)
Owners or
operators shall submit to the director a written "Notice of Intent" to operate
under the standardized permit. Owners or operators shall also include the
information and certifications required under rules 3745-50-250 to 3745-50-320
of the Administrative Code.
(B)
Switching from an
individual hazardous waste management permit to a standardized permit. Where
all units in the hazardous waste management permit are eligible for the
standardized permit, an owner or operator may request that the owner's or
operator's individual hazardous waste management permit be revoked and
submitted as a draft permit that is a standardized permit, in accordance with
rule 3745-50-505 of the Administrative Code. Where only some of the units in
the hazardous waste management permit are eligible for the standardized permit,
owners or operators may request that the owner's or operator's individual
permit be modified to no longer include those units and issue a standardized
permit for those units in accordance with paragraph (A) of rule 3745-50-704 of
the Administrative Code.
