Ohio Admin. Code 4751-1-05.1 - Core of knowledge in nursing home administration
(1) The core of knowledge is not a
preparatory course for the national or state exams.
(2) The core of knowledge contains
vital information which will help prospective licensees become successful
(3) The core of knowledge course
also provides valuable networking opportunities, which may have a positive
impact on licensees' careers.
(2) Demonstrated ability to
successfully put on a course of similar size and scope.
(3) Resources and benefits offered
to the students (program cost, study guides, books, practice exams, meals,
etc.).
(4) Collecting feedback from
participants and working with the
(D) Course content may not consist
of more than twenty per cent distance learning material. "Distance learning
material" means any material presented without the instructor and the attendee
being physically located in the same room.
