Okla. Admin. Code § 260:135-7-129 - Fractionation tanks (frac tanks) not eligible for registration
(a)
"Frac tank" means any portable or stationary, high-volume holding vessel designed and constructed for use in separating, storing, or temporarily holding materials used in or resulting from fracturing techniques used in oil and gas exploration. [17 O.S. § 54 et. seq]
(b) Mobile frac tanks do not qualify for special mobilized machinery registration.
(c) Nonrenewable commercial trailer license plates are issued to frac tanks, under the same conditions, and at the same rates applicable to commercial trailers.
