Okla. Admin. Code § 317:30-5-701 - Surface identification

Surfaces requiring dental treatment must be indicated using standard Latin abbreviations. The following capital letters are used on claims:

(1) M - Mesial

(2) D - Distal

(3) O - Occlusal

(4) L - Lingual

(5) F - Facial

(6) I - Incisal

(7) B - Buccal.
