Or. Admin. R. 416-106-0020 - Definitions
(1) Adjudicated
youth: A person who has been found to be within the jurisdiction of the
juvenile court under 419C.005 for an act committed when the person was under 18
years of age.
(2) Crime: The act
that has brought the adjudicated youth before the juvenile court.
(3) OYA: Oregon Youth Authority.
(4) Parole: The conditional release of an
adjudicated youth from a youth correction facility subject to the director's
authority to revoke parole pursuant to ORS
420.045(3).
(5) Victim: Any person determined by the
prosecuting attorney or the court to have suffered direct financial,
psychological or physical harm as a result of a crime, and, in the case of a
victim who is a minor, the legal guardian of the minor.
(6) Youth correction facility: A facility
used for the confinement of adjudicated youth and others, and includes secure
regional youth facilities, regional accountability camps, residential academies
and satellites, camps, and branches of those facilities.
