(1) All bulbs
packed under these regulations shall be packed in clean, fairly bright boxes,
in accordance to approved methods. The boxes shall be well nailed with cleats
at ends. There shall be a layer of granulated peat or other suitable packing
material on the top and bottom of the pack and also between each layer. All
boxes shall be tightly packed at the time of packing, but contents shall not
show unnecessary bruising because of over-filled package.
(2) Packed bulbs in any one box shall not
have more than ten percent below the minimum size marked on the box. The number
of bulbs in any individual box shall not vary more than two percent below the
number marked on the box and not more than one percent in lots of ten boxes or
more.
