(1) Oregon No. 1.
Oregon No. 1 shall consist of strawberry plants of one variety or of plants of
similar varietal characteristics which are fresh, firm, moist, fairly clean,
well-trimmed runners and petioles, free from damage caused by sunburn, mold,
black roots, broken or split crowns, or mechanical injury, and free from
detectable dangerous pests or disease. The length of the main roots shall be
not less than 2-3/4 inches, having not less than 12 main roots.
(2) Oregon No. 2. Oregon No. 2 shall meet all
the requirements of Oregon No. 1 strawberry plants, except the length of the
main roots shall be not less than 2-1/2 inches and each plant shall have eight
or more main roots.
