Or. Admin. R. 735-010-0055 - Definition of Law Enforcement Official
For purposes of ORS 807.115, "law enforcement official" means:
(1)
An Oregon peace officer;
(2) A
person granted the statutory authority of an Oregon peace officer;
(3) An employee of a law enforcement agency
of another state, sovereign nation, or the federal government who exercises the
equivalent authority as an Oregon peace officer; or
(4) Any federal or state official who
oversees criminal investigations, including the Oregon Attorney General, the
Oregon Governor, the United States Attorney General, or a district attorney of
the State of Oregon.
